What's new?
Here are some of the latest changes and additions to the Your Treasures website.
Videos
We now have videos of contributors talking about their treasures on the website. Our first features Kevin Patrick, an avid comics collector and, as it so happens, the Library’s guest curator of the
Heroes & Villains exhibition!
Hear Kevin tell us what’s so special about his treasure, the comic book Anthony Fury >

We’ll be adding new videos over the next few months, so keep an eye on the

New State Library of Victoria treasures
As you no doubt know, the State Library of Victoria has many wonderful treasures of its own. Many of these, including some of the rarest and most precious items in the Library’s collection, can be viewed online. One of the most recently acquired items is the Lazarus Diary, which contains one of the few eyewitness accounts of the Eureka uprising at Ballarat, Victoria in December 1854.
You can explore this treasure in detail in a new interactive display which allows you to read the diary page by page, zoom and pan individual pages, as well as read the original handwriting alongside a transcript.
